Recently, Renaud Perray of Cardone Industries was recognized as a 2016 practitioner pro to know by the Supply and Demand Chain Executive Magazine. At Arkieva, our core value is to help our clients succeed through better supply chain planning. We take great pride in the success of our clients and it is no different this time.
I have worked with Renaud at Cardone for a couple of years now. I first met him during the software implementation project. From the beginning, it was obvious that Renaud was very result focused. In fact, I remember him telling me one time that as long as the results are right, he does not care who gets the credit.
Renaud came to Cardone in January 2014. Prior to that, he was at Groupe SEB, Arcelor, and A Berger (most recent first). Prior to that, Renaud did his Masters in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science at the Institut Catholique d’Arts et Metiers (ICAM) in Nantes, France.
When I met Renaud for the first time in February 2014, it was obvious that he knew what he was doing and was eager to apply his knowledge at Cardone. As the nomination for the recognition suggested, he has delivered this via the results that he achieved for Cardone with fill rates increasing to 95% and continuing to improve. In the process, he has worked very well with his team (as reflected in the comment from the team members below). In my eyes, Renaud is a true leader. Or as Eric Wilson from Tempur Sealy would say it: He is a modern day super hero of business.
Following are some comments from Renaud’s colleagues.
“While only being with Cardone a couple of months, Renaud Perry’s leadership has truly been inspiring. He challenges myself and his team to think outside of the box to come up with different approaches to finding solutions. This not only helps my skill set, but also helps better Cardone as a whole. Renaud is determined to do anything in his power to make everyone working with and for him succeed.”

“Renaud has led our team to preemptively think about supply chain problems that could arise in the future, rather than chasing problems from the past.”
– Jason F.
“Renaud is an example for very good servant leader in our organization, and also very good to motivate all the people. His hard work and experience shows huge improvement for our company’s corporate goals.”
– Sam K.
“He is a motivational leader who leads by example, and brings an inspiring amount of energy, enthusiasm, logic and common sense; but also a big picture approach while driving solutions to problems, with candor, wits, a team building competitive spirit; and finally is a real people person. Makes me want to raise the bar to achieve more on a daily basis.”
– Gregg G.
“If I were to pick one way to describe Renaud, I would quote a director at one of our largest customers; “This man

“Having been at Cardone Industries for 25 years, I have worked with many leaders who were endowed with various strengths. Renaud’s strength is “Humility”. Rather than become defensive when things don’t work out as planned he has taught us to look at this “opportunity” to improve and grow in our careers. Through this process we have broken down silos and worked seamlessly with other areas, the result is improved service to our customers and we are becoming the supplier everyone wants to buy from.”
– Sally M.
Renaud has encouraged me to think out of the box and question how work flow is done not only in our department but across the supply chain. He has helped bring stability in our bracket order process by setting up a MRP system that is forecast driven rather than looking back at history. He is also an encouraging leader who cares for his people.
– Bill L.
“There is one word in my experience working under Renaud Perray’s leadership that describes him, and that is “Fearless”. Renaud’s drive for excellence is very contagious, and will inspire all who come in contact with him to strive for the same. It has been a pleasure to learn from Renaud, and I can say he has had a very positive impact on my career. Renaud’s recognition is very well deserved, and I look forward to continuing to grow and learn from him.”

From the entire team at Arkieva: Congratulations Renaud, for a very well deserved recognition.
