Sujit Singh
As COO of Arkieva, Sujit manages the day-to-day operations at Arkieva such as software implementations and customer relationships. He is a recognized subject matter expert in forecasting, S&OP and inventory optimization. Sujit received a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and an M.S. in Transportation Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. Throughout the day don’t be surprised if you find him practicing his cricket technique before a meeting.
Dr. Ken Fordyce
Before joining Arkieva, he had a very successful 36-year career with IBM, much of it in all aspects of supply chain (to use Intel’s Karl Kempf’s preferred term – demand supply networks) for IBM Microelectronics Division (MD). During this period, MD was a Fortune 100-size firm by itself. Fordyce was part of the teams that altered the landscape of best-practices – receiving three IBM Outstanding Technical Achievement Awards, AAAI Innovative Application Award, and INFORMS Edelman Finalist (twice) and Wagner (winner). He writes and often speaks about the “ongoing challenge,” both to practitioners and academics. In his free time, Dr. Fordyce enjoys writing programs in APL2 while running sprints.
Jelle Clement
Jelle joined Arkieva in 2004 and works out of Arkieva’s Belgium office. As a consultant, he has experience overseeing various demand management and supply balancing projects for various clients. Jelle has studied at Ghent University and the Vlerick Business School. He also holds a CPIM certification from APICS. If you are ever confused as to which Arkieva member is Jelle just look for the gentleman in the yellow squirrel sweatshirt.
Ashith B. Hegde
Ashith Hegde was appointed managing director for the Asia-Pacific Region in September 2013. Prior to heading the office in Mangalore, India, he worked at the Arkieva headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware. Hegde’s areas of expertise include demand management, inventory planning, inventory structural and investment analysis, as well as working with business executives and supporting their needs for performance management and KPI reporting using the Arkieva software. His most recent assignment was managing one of Arkieva’s key multinational chemical accounts. Hegde has a Master of Engineering Degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering and a Master of Science Degree in Supply Chains and Operations Management from the University at Buffalo, New York. He received his Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal University, India. He is also certified in Production and Inventory Management.
Mike Zerr
Mike is an Account Executive at Arkieva, aiding in business development and driving our new client sales. Mike joined Arkieva with nearly 20 years of supply chain and merchandise planning experience for retail and wholesale companies. Mike has had various supply chain and planning roles at Payless ShoeSource, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and VF Corp. He earned his BBA in Business Management from Fort Hays State University with an emphasis in Marketing and Leadership Studies. With a strong passion and understanding of supply chain planning, Mike is driven to use new technology to help solve customer’s problems while driving better demand forecasts and optimizing inventory to drive company profits.
Prof. Dr. Bram Desmet
Bram is the managing director of Solventure, the Arkieva partner in Europe. His areas of expertise and interest include Supply Chain Strategy, Integrated Business Planning and Working Capital Reduction. Bram holds a Ph.D. in Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization. He’s an adjunct professor at the Vlerick Business School and teaches in Supply Chain and Operations related courses in Europe, Russia, and China.
